Brief: Tottenham 1 – Chelsea 1

One point that could have been three!

Chelsea came into this game against our North London rivals needing a good result to get back in to the title race after dropping to forth before this game begun. Ancelotti kept Drogba on the bench and played with Anelka and Kalou up front, Lampard was on the bench for the first time since his long lay off.

After a very positive start the inevitable happened, 15 minutes played and Pavlyuchenko took the ball past two defenders in the box and slotted it past Cech to put Spurs ahead, albeit Defoe looked offside in the build up. Once again we go into half time a goal down having to once again chase the game to get anything from it.

The second half saw Didier Drogba come on for Mikel and the game was end to end. Finally after 70 minutes Drogba scored the equaliser after Gomez failed to hold the shot. It all looked like a draw when the game went into injury time and Chelsea get a penalty when Ramires is bought down by Gomez, Drogba takes it, Gomez saves!

One all the final score and should have come away with two more points than we did.
