Brief: Everton 1 – Chelsea 1

The FA Cup returned today for a welcome break from the league games, and we all made a trip to Goodison Park for a 4th round clash away at Everton. The 12:30 kick off meant we were all up and away nice and early for our trip to the North West.
Everton were without a few players and had been struggling lately so, all in all a recipe for disaster, and so it nearly turned out to be when Louis Saha scored for the home team (he always seems to score against us!) to put them one up after 62 minutes, straight from a corner after John Terry misread the cross in.
The introduction of Kalou for Malouda paid dividends though when on 75 minutes he ran onto a through ball from Anelka to slot past Tim Howard in the Everton goal.
So, a draw was probably a fair result and we all now look forward to the replay at The Bridge in a couple of weeks time (Possibly Sat 19th Feb?)
