Brief: Wolves 1 – Chelsea 0

Another loss and even 4th place is looking like a big challenge!

Bottom club Wolves!, got to be three points and get us back to winning ways?

You would have thought the two teams had swapped places in the league by the way they both played last night, Wolves were out to prove they were no pushovers and Chelsea looked like ‘rabbits in headlights’ with no idea of where to go next!

From the moment Bosingwa put the ball in his own net direct from a Stephen (spit) Hunt corner, it was a case of ‘here we go again’ with Chelsea chasing the game and the opposition soaking up the little pressure put on them

Supporters were leaving the ground talking about how different it is going into games not knowing if we would win or not, just like the old days in fact!. For me, I’m not so sure but one thing is for certain, Roman Abromovich won’t put up with this for much longer and we may well see a managerial merry-go-round in the coming weeks. Carlo may resign before awaiting the inevitable if things don’t change, we shall see.

Next up, Ipswich in the FA Cup on Sunday where I’m sure Roy Keane will be a lot more optimistic than when the draw was made. Following that we have league games against Blackburn (H) and Bolton and Sunderland (A) and, by the end of that we could be mid table unless we can find our form again and get ourselves out of this worse run since 1994!
