Chelsea’s [1] reward for beating Southampton 5-1 in the 3rd round of the FA Cup yesterday was a draw to visit either Brentford [2] or Southend [3].
Brentford we know well, a stones throw from The Bridge and base for our junior players games, not to mention a standing terrace for away fans. Southend we’ve seen before, the last time we came close to a postponement when the low fog suddenly decended upon us just before kick off.
