  • Spot on on most fronts, for Villa/Palace also read Newcastle, Stoke… basically away from home we’ve thrown enough points away from under par performances to be pretty much home and dry by now. I like Willian and what I’ve seen of Salah so far but I still find it hard to believe we have bought so many midfielders rather than a striker or two, the Torres issue has been a problem for a long while. All we can do is win our games and hope for others to slip up.. although knowing Chelsea we’ll beat the Scousers and lose to Norwich 😉

    • We put all our eggs in the Rooney basket and got burned

  • Andy Field

The great anticipation of a defensive header followed by taking two or three touches instead of shooting immediately sums up my frustration with him in a nutshell.

    • His confidence is shot – as is our belief in him

  • I have to agree with you Jamie. We may well beat the Scousers but drop more silly points against someone else. Funnily enough, if Liverpoo beat City and we beat Liverfools and Everton at least draw at home to City, and we win our other four matches, Chelsea will be champions. You heard it here first. Impossible? Far from it.

    • Liverpoo, Liverfools?

  • No mention of “Dave” in our POY tally?
Thought Villa was more down to the poor ref than our performance.
Torres annoys with his attitude as much as his performances in front of goal.

  • strange predicament to be in alright, hoping that the scousers win next sunday and then hoping we take them later in the month, as its already been pointed out though, we really have nobody to blame but ouselves or rather the players for chucking away some very very ridiculous points against so called inferior opposition, but lets see how things pan out, you just never know!
