• Fair report, though perhaps a bit generous regarding the effort. The way we lined up, without a striker, it was clear that a draw was considered a reasonable outcome.

  I contrast our performance against Man U with Leicester’s against Man City — not in terms of the quality of play, but of the passion that Leicester displayed, chasing down loose balls, closing space, putting in a full shift until the final whistle. That’s the kind of passion I want to see from our boys.

  I think you’re right, our boys seem to give up far too easily on seemingly lost causes. But had they put a bit more effort in who knows what could had happened, just one goal to pinch the winner, especially towards the end. On top of that, the effort would have done a lot to show their commitment to the fans.
