Good report, but I really don’t get this Wimbledon stealing away from their fans lark, Truth is that they were getting pitiful crowds in the premier league and would have gone bust anyway had it not been for their move to MK. If as many fans who bleat now about their precious club being moved had actually gone to watch them when they were in London they probably could have still been going, in that form. They didn’t.

The claim that they “would have gone bust anyway” is delusional nonsense. What would have actually happened is that they would have most likely slipped down the leagues but that Wimbledon FC would still exist. Instead they were removed from their local area as part of a business deal, nothing to do with football. That is an outrage, its like Abramovich deciding CFC could get a bigger ground and make more money by moving to, say, Birmingham because there’s more space to build there. Then changing the name to Brum Blues.
