  • Trizia, you’ve hit the nail well & truly on the head with this article. If anything you may have been slightly lenient with your feelings towards some of the players..(in my row in gate 17 there’s a feeling we don’t want to see half this first team ever again, once the final whistle has been blown on this season). In what other team sport would you see “professionals” performing so unprofessionally??

Very well said. These mercenaries should give back tgeir wages because the lack of effort is just so obvious. One would’ve thought the pressure of having virtually nothing to play for would have given a freedom of expression to some of the players but no chance. And, I believe Mr. hiddink has some questiond to answer. Hus starting eleven included the same old, same old mercemaries namely mikel obi, fabregas ( absolute Stinker) ivanovic. Abd willian is supposed to be our best player this season. Give me a break! As for langer courtois! I want to keep these remarks clean. Suffice to say that if he departs this summer yours truely, a supporter of 46 yrs will shed no tears

Delivered nice and clear with a blunt blade. Over the many years of supporting the club, I don’t feel I have been so distant from them. At the weekend I spent more time doing other things at home than watching the game.

    My apathy on their apathy.

    Excellent article Trizia, succinctly put.
