All applicants must be available to attend for an interview on either Tuesday 18th July 2023 or Wednesday 19th July 2023 and also attend a Stadium Familiarisation/Induction evening on Monday 24th July 2023 which is required as part of the recruitment process.
All candidates are required to bring their Right to Work documentation to their interview. It is with regret that we will not be able interview anyone who does not bring the required documentation.

About the Team:
The Match Day Safety team is based at Stamford Bridge.
The team is lead by Head of Matchday Safety Chris Baker, along with operations staff Paul O’Donnell and Katie O’Donnell. Along with our Match day Stewards, we are tasked with putting on a safe event.
Within the stewards field, you could be assigned to work as a general safety steward, within hospitality or even fire safety. Whilst working with us, you will be placed on to a nationally recognised and fully accredited course in order to boost your knowledge of Event and Spectator Safety.
What We’re Looking For:
A candidate to act in accordance with the general recommendations of the Guide to Safety at Sports grounds (Green Guide) and the specific requirements of the Safety Certificate issued by the Local Authority under the Safety of Sport Ground Act 1975. You will play a key role in the event day safety team, ensuring that the Stadium provides a safe and secure environment to thousands of visitors and staff who attend through the year.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:
• Over 18 years old.
• If applying for a Fire Steward position, experience working within the Fire Brigade. (Not applicable to general or hospitality stewards).
Nice to Haves:
• A First Aid Certificate.
• Currently hold, or working towards a Level 2 in Spectator Safety qualification.
