Fan Advisory Board autumn update

The latest round-up of news and activity from Chelsea Football Club’s Fan Advisory Board (FAB) includes information from a canvassing of supporters’ opinions, details on the next drop-in session at Stamford Bridge, and the unveiling of a new FAB member…
The FAB, which consists of a range of fan representatives, is consulted by and engages with the club on strategic matters to ensure supporter perspectives are heard at the highest level and fan sentiment is involved in decision making.
Fan views collected
Recently, the FAB commissioned an online survey and there were several thousand respondents from the Chelsea fanbase. Concentrating primarily on the match-going experience for men’s team games, a summary of the findings has been compiled covering the areas of communication, ticketing, the matchday experience, heritage and loyalty, and equality, diversity and inclusion.
FAB to host matchday drop-in
Continuing this season’s innovation for Premier League home matches at Stamford Bridge, fans at next month’s fixture against Aston Villa can meet members of the Fan Advisory Board in the Tea Bar pre-match, any time between 11.30am and 1pm on Sunday 1 December.
It is a chance to ask questions, discuss subjects relating to supporting the Blues, and share feedback, as well as finding out more about the remit of the FAB and how it represents the fanbase.
The Tea Bar outside the south end of the stadium, between Frankie’s and the ticket office and opposite the Shed Wall.
Introducing Zane Elmasri
Announced today is a new member of the Fan Advisory Board, filling a vacancy that had arisen.
The nominations committee, consisting of club and independent representatives, identified the suitable person from the large pool generated by the FAB’s open application process and we are pleased to unveil Zane Elmasri who brings the total of representatives back up to seven.
Zane, who is of Portuguese and Lebanese heritage but grew up near Brighton, has supported Chelsea for over 20 years. Beginning with days of fond memories watching games with his dad, he has becoming a very well-travelled fan as days out at the Bridge grew to magical Champions League nights at the San Siro and the unforgettable Club World Cup win in Abu Dhabi.
He is proud and excited about this opportunity to work with the club and is deeply committed to ensuring the voices of Chelsea fans are heard and valued so they can shape the successful future of the club together.
