CSG Statement
Despite the welcome return of ticket sales for the FA Cup, Champions League & away games, Chelsea Supporters Group would like to emphasise that the ban on ticket sales to members for home games is unacceptable.
It has already been clearly stated that all proceeds would go to charities assisting Ukraine so all the ban is achieving is depriving charities of money and Chelsea supporters of watching their team.
Mr Abramovich has been sanctioned, not the supporters of Chelsea FC, and it is not in the spirit of the sanctions that they should be penalised through no fault of their own.
We therefore call on the government to reconsider the terms of the licence.
