Introducing new Chelsea Carers Network

From the official Chelsea FC website:

This summer at Stamford Bridge an introductory meeting will take place for carers who are Chelsea fans or who aid Chelsea fans – and we have the details here…

Chelsea has some incredibly passionate supporters with disabilities and behind some of those supporters are incredibly dedicated carers.

There is a vast range of medical professionals, friends and family, and young carers who aid Blues fans in attending football games. Some Chelsea fans, however, cannot attend games due to their caring responsibilities.

The club wishes to recognise these wonderful carers as more than just a support aid with the launch of the Chelsea Carers Network.

The aim of this network is to provide a safe space for respite and support at our beloved Stamford Bridge. If you are a Chelsea supporter who has a carer who may benefit from this new network, or you yourself are a carer interested in being part of it, join our disability access officer and other carers on Thursday 24 July from 10am to 12pm for our introductory meet.

The venue will be the Tea Bar at Stamford Bridge, which is at the south end of the stadium site, between Frankie’s Bar and Grill and the ticket office, opposite the Shed Wall.
