  • A very well written piece and I totally agree. Chelsea never get the credit they deserve especially with their European record over the last 10 years and the trophies we have won. Jose presented a master class yesterday and all they could do is to use “His” phase “parked the bus” We played a very weakened side yesterday without so called key players. I would like to see how Liverpool had done with 5 injuries and a suspension including the goalkeeper. A special mention has to be made too to Mark Swarzer who has stepped in and been fantastic too. Thomas Kalas what a fantastic debut and what a great buy Matic is turning out to be too. Yes Jose has limited resources this season but wait until the next one !

  • The Liverfools also wheeled out Luis Garcia before kick-off to rub our noses in it, but guess who had the last laugh? Their defiant YNWA sing-song when they know they’ve lost is also laughable. I’ve always found Kopites more condescending than any other supporters. They sneered that we had “no history” and accused JM of being arrogant. How bloody ironic.

    • Well I was at the game yesterday, it was bloody amazing especially at the finish, the Chelsea fans really belted out the songs especially the Willian song with gusto! Scousers were absolutely gutted after the game with a few rumbles outside the grounds. Speaking of attacks on the Chelsea bus, the public bus I used to get into the city centre had a small stone thrown at the window I was sitting at, by a Liverpool ‘fan’ wearing the jersey, I assume it was meant for my benefit, charming or what? Yesterdays result makes the Sunderland defeat all the more galling but as I said before, you just never know what will happen in the next few weeks, we just have to fight on to the bitter end!

  • I was delighted with the result, of course, and very happy to see Mark Swarzer play a fine match. The heart, the discipline, the nerve were all on display at Anfield. It was a terrific team performance. The tactics were right and the side carried them out to the letter.

  • ish collins

It seems that the Liverpool’s can do no wrong in the eyes of the media. We out fought them out thought them and out manoeuvred them and yet its our fault for being better in every department especially the goals for one. They seem to want to hand them a league title cos Stevie g deserves one and according to the biased commentator all that we can do is be very good at what he called “the dark arts” of the game. Well done to Jose and all the squad for a really super Sunday.
