Football Supporters Europe (FSE) and co-hosts the Football Supporters’ Association (the FSA) are pleased to announce that the registration for the European Football Fans Congress 2023 (EFFC2023) in Manchester, England, is now open.
Hosted at the Manchester Metropolitan University in the heart of the city, EFFC 23 will be heading to England for the first time since its inaugural edition in 2008.
The event will begin on Thursday 22rd June with an opening evening (details to be announced), running through to lunchtime on Sunday 26th June.
With an extensive events programme to be announced shortly, members are encouraged to register to attend as soon as possible to assist with planning activities.
Staying in Manchester
FSE and the FSA are working with the local tourism board to provide a platform specifically for EFFC23 attendees to book reasonably priced accommodation within the city centre close to the venue which will be announced later this week. Attendees are also welcome to book their own accommodation, should they prefer.
Travelling to Manchester & visas
For those travelling from across Europe, you must have a passport to enter the UK.
Depending on the country you are travelling from, you may need a visa. Check the UK Government’s website to determine whether you need a visa here. If you do need to apply for a visa, you can do so here. FSE strongly encourages those who need a visa to apply ASAP to ensure it is permitted in time to attend EFFC 23.
When applying for a visa and in order to get a timely and successful response, we strongly advise you to provide all relevant personal details (full name, address, date of birth), passport credentials, and other details relating to your visit such as confirmed hotel bookings and flights.
The FSA’s AGM will be taking place on Saturday 25th June and FSA members can register for the AGM through the EFFC23 registration form.
A full agenda for our AGM, as well as information on elections and motions will follow shortly.
If you have any questions about the 2023 AGM in the meantime, email FSA secretary Richard Irving.
