The 2023/24 Women’s Super League season concludes on Saturday – and it could end with Chelsea claiming the title for a fifth successive season.
The Blues travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Saturday afternoon in Emma in what is Hayes’ final game as our manager.
Chelsea go into the weekend top of the table, level on points but with a two-goal advantage over Manchester City who are in second.
City are also on the road in their final game of the campaign as they face Aston Villa at Villa Park.

We face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday, May 18, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm (BST).

The form
The Blues go into the match sitting top of the WSL table thanks to a 1-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday night.
We have picked up 52 points in our 21 games, scoring 65 goals and conceding 18 along the way. The Blues have a better goal difference of two over Manchester City.
Manchester United host their final match of the campaign sitting in fifth, three points behind fourth-placed Liverpool. But Marc Skinner’s side have a 12-goal advantage over the Merseyside club.
United have won 10 games this term, drawn five and lost six, scoring 42 and conceding 26 in the process.
Recent head-to-head
In January, we welcomed United to Stamford Bridge where the Blues came away winners after Lauren James netted a hat-trick in our 3-1 victory. Hayley Ladd was on the scoresheet for the visitors.
The two sides met in the semi-final of the FA Cup in April, with the Manchester side winning 2-1 to progress to the final, where they lifted the trophy after beating Tottenham at Wembley last weekend.
