The Fan Advisory Board looks forward to the new year

From the official Chelsea FC website:

As we start 2025, the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) anticipates the upcoming months to be significant for supporters and wants to assure fans that across many key areas of the club, supporter sentiment and views will continue to be represented.

The first key meeting of the year (the second FAB meeting of the season with senior officials at Chelsea Football Club) took place on Thursday 23 January with ticketing, memberships and supporter loyalty discussed.

As highlighted in a recent survey of supporters carried out by the FAB, a continual point of discussion is ticketing. Using the feedback provided by the survey, these concerns and points have been raised with senior club officials in productive and beneficial meetings. The FAB will continue to have regular meetings with key individuals in the upcoming months, addressing supporters’ feedback and views, and a summary of the survey has been sent to the relevant directors at Chelsea FC.

During the 2024/25 season, the FAB has hosted a meet-and-greet session in the Tea Bar at Stamford Bridge prior to every Premier League home fixture. Before the season finishes, the FAB will host additional meet-and-greet sessions with specific topics of conversation, providing an opportunity for supporters to ask any questions they may have. The next topic will be an open discussion with supporters on ticketing on Tuesday 25 February prior to the Southampton fixture.

As well as this, the FAB continues to meet with the club on a number of key topics raised in the survey such as memberships, loyalty and stadium redevelopment, ensuring that supporters’ views from the survey will play a key role in shaping any club updates regarding these areas.

Co-chair of the FAB, Neil Beard, said, ‘It is vital that our supporters’ voices are heard and the survey was a fantastic way to do this. This has been pivotal in shaping the conversations with the club and has made an impact in ensuring that the views of our supporters are represented and heard at the highest levels in the club.’

Additionally, the FAB has recently had an involvement in helping to develop the matchday atmosphere and environment, attending key meetings and working with supporters to put forward initiatives and ideas as the club moves into the second half of the season.
