Premier League 2 play-off draw confirmed
From the official Chelsea FC website:
Chelsea Under-21s will face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Kingsmeadow on Saturday afternoon in the last 16 of the Premier League 2 title play-offs.
Our final regular Premier League 2 fixture against Crystal Palace secured a seeded place in the last-16 of the knockout stages with an impressive 4-2 victory, which saw Genesis Antwi, Donnell McNeilly, Ronnie Stutter and Richard Olise all getting their names on the score sheet.
That victory meant we finished third in the Premier League 2 table, ensuring we will play our first knockout tie at home. Our opponents have now been confirmed as Wolves, who finished 14th in the 26-team standings after recording eight wins and four draws from their 20 matches during the league stage.
The last-16 fixture will take place at Kingsmeadow on Saturday 26 April with kick-off at 6pm. The winner will then be away against either Crystal Palace or Brighton & Hove Albion in the quarter-finals.
Ticket details can be found below, but if you can’t make it to Kingsmeadow we will also be showing the game live on the official Chelsea website and app in our Chelsea Under-21s vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Match Centre.
