DSA Request for Board Nominations

September 29, 2025 Admin
Message sent on behalf of the Chelsea Disabled Supporters Association.

The first AGM of the Chelsea Disabled Supporters Association is set for 25th October after the Chelsea v Sunderland fixture in the Tea Bar.

We will be looking for positions on the board.

The DSA is led by disabled fans to ensure lived experience is central, but welcomes support from all who share our commitment to improving access and inclusion at Chelsea FC.

Non-disabled people are very welcome to get involved, contribute and take on supportive roles.

Anyone who is interested in a position on the board will need to :

  • commit to the time and requirements.
  • be available to attend meetings, understandably not all, (in person or online) forums and events etcetera.

If you wish apply, please write a brief statement on why you would like to join the DSA, drawing on your experience and what you can offer.

To apply, please email chelseadsa@chelseasupporterstrust.com
with the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Contact Email
  • Date of Birth
  • Candidate Statement (max of 800 words)

The closing date for nominations will be 22nd October 2025.
Voting will take place online after the AGM.

Since reforming the Chelsea DSA we have

  • Taken accessible tours at both Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow.
  • Been involved with changes and improvements for accessible supporters.
  • Attended club forums.
  • Given your feedback, be it critical or complimentary.
  • Trialled new initiatives (give vision).
  • Attended digital ticketing workshops.
  • Taken part in the annual Unite For Access campaign.
  • Attended Premier League disabled fans focus group meetings.
  • Attended European Football Fans Congress and the firstDisability and Fan Inclusion Network.

The CDSA remain fully committed to being an independent  democratic organisation representing our members in an open and honest way that is accessible for all to join.
