Charities Benefit From Annual Supporters Tournament 2026

The Chelsea Foundation and the charity UK Sepsis Trust both received cheques for £2,153 from the Chelsea Supporters Group prior to our game with Bournemouth on Saturday.
The Chelsea Supporters Group and the Chelsea Supporters Trust raised the funds in July at the annual 6-a-side supporters’ tournament at Chelsea FC’s Cobham training ground including income from the raffle, entries and, the sale of previous years Chelsea FC shirts making the total raised £4,306.
The main men’s prize, the ‘Trizia Fiorellino Memorial Trophy’, was won by CKFC led by Callum Roberts, with Saffron Blues led by Kunnapich Wood taking the ‘Plate Trophy’. The afternoon competitions saw Chelsea Born and Bred taking the ‘Men’s Walking Trophy’ led by Paul Holmes and, the ‘Women’s Trophy’ went to Carefree FC led by Mary Serafin.
Peter Trenter, Chair of the Chelsea Supporters Group, said: ‘It was a really good day and there were some entertaining matches, we had some challenges with the extreme heat on the day but overall everyone had a great day, we even had teams from Italy and Poland who made the trip over for the event. The club are really helpful when it comes to setting up the tournament, supplying prizes for the raffle / teams, and letting us use the facilities at Cobham. Many thanks to everyone who came along on the day to help out, we couldn’t do it without you all.
‘We had the Men’s teams competing in the morning, the Women and the Walking teams competed in the afternoon. Once you get everybody playing it pretty much takes care of itself. You always get a bit nervous about everyone turning up, especially when there are a few late arrivals, but it was great fun and all for good causes.’
We look forward to seeing everyone once again in 2027 for the 19th running of the Trizia Memorial Supporters Football Tournament.
Peter, Cliff and all the organising team.
