A massive, massive thanks to you all for your support – the race was tough, the bridges were brutal but the though of Triz pushed me through the pain. I was very disappointed in my finishing time, crossing with a gun-time of 4:23 (chip time 4:20) but I nearly (very nearly) actually enjoyed it. It turns out Chelsea have a sizeable fan base in NY and ran the course to cheers of ‘Come on chelsea’, ‘Pulisic! Pulisic! Pulisic!’ and the occasional ‘allez Les blues’ – not sure if it was a French Chelsea supporter or a very confused American. M
