2012/13 Champions League Group Draw
Chelsea, the current holders of the Champions League, were put into Group ‘E’ of this seasons draw held today.
First club to join us in the group stages were Shakhtar Dontesk from the Ukraine, first time Chelsea have met Shakhtar and a bit of a long trip for those going.
Second club drawn were Juventus from Italy, a return trip to the home of ‘The Old Lady’ for many Chelsea supporters and an opportunity to see their new stadium.
Third and final team to join the group were Nordssjaelland of Denmark, newcomers to the Champions League, a small stadium of just over 10K will mean tickets will be at a premium. (Have heard a rumour thie venue may change to Copenhagen-TBC)
