Chelsea Draw Napoli In The Champions League

Chelsea have drawn Napoli from Italy in the first knockout round of this seasons Champions League

Having won the Group after the 3-0 win over Valencia it means we go to Napoli for the first game

From the official CFC site:

“The Italians qualified second in their group behind Bayern Munich, coming through to the knockout stage at the expense of Manchester City, winning their fnial game 2-0 against Villarreal. Coached by Walter Mazzarri, Napoli are currently fifth in Serie A, and play an attractive brand of attacking football centred around the trio of Marek Hamsek, Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi”

The UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw in full (ties to be played 21st February and 14th March):

Lyon v APOEL

Napoli v Chelsea

Milan v Arsenal

Basel v Bayern

Leverkusen v Barcelona

CSKA v Real Madrid

Zenit v Benfica

Marseille v Inter

    The dates here don’t correspond to the dates on the Chelsea website:

    “We will be away in the first leg on 21 February and at home in the return game on 14 March.”
