If QPR win, we will meet in west London at 12pm.
********************************************************************************
Chelsea will be away to MK Dons or Queen’s Park Rangers in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The tie will be played on Sat 28 January (see above).
We have not played League One MK Dons since they adopted the name when Wimbledon relocated to Milton Keynes. They were formally managed by current Chelsea assistant first team coach Roberto Di Matteo.
We last met QPR (who sacked manager Neil Warnock on Sunday evening) in the tournament four years ago, beating them 1-0 at home in the third round. We won in the fourth round at Loftus Road in 1996 with Gavin Peacock and Paul Furlong scoring for us against a club for whom both also played.
QPR’s one success over us in the competition came in a third round replay on their ground in 1974, Rangers first ever win in this London derby in any competition. We beat them away on New Year’s Day 1970 on the way to winning the FA Cup for the first time.
The full draw is:

I know it was not competitive but the first ever game at stadium:mk was MK Dons vs Chelsea XI
Why is this game kicking off at 12?
Police and Local authorities agreed it. I guess they are concerned about potential trouble with supporters being in the pub all day!
