Internationals: Young Lions go through as group winners

There were a number of our Academy boys who featured in England U-17s final group game against Israel this afternoon…
On this occasion the spoils were shared, the 1-1 draw meaning England go through to the next stage as group winners.
Ted Curd was the only Chelsea player who started this fixture with Michael Golding and Kiano Dyer featuring off the bench.
The Young Lions will now take part in the elite round of qualifying in the spring, hoping to join hosts Hungary at the 16-team Finals from 17 May to 2 June 2023.
