New applicants invited for Fans’ Forum and Access Forum

From the official Chelsea FC website:

Chelsea Football Club is looking for supporters to join the Fans’ Forum and the Access Forum for next season, to share their views with the club and help improve the experience for all our supporters.

Both Forums are a space for supporters to make their voices heard on key matchday and operational issues that impact supporters. They aim to maintain a positive and constructive dialogue between the club and fans, therefore developing a better understanding of issues that affect supporters, and providing an opportunity to discuss new ideas aimed at enhancing supporter engagement.

The Access Forum specifically represents supporters who have access requirements.

For each Forum there are usually three meetings per season held at Stamford Bridge on a non-match day. Representatives may attend meetings online where feasible.

To reflect the diverse nature of Chelsea’s support, representatives are selected from a wide variety of supporters.

For the Fans’ Forum, there are vacancies for the coming season for the following positions (one vacancy per position) for which you can apply if you are in the relevant group:

  • Club member
  • Family stand season ticket holder
  • Female member or season ticket holder
  • LGBTQI+ member or season ticket holder
  • UK away scheme holder

The above does not prevent a female or LGBTQI+ supporter from applying for another category for which they qualify but you can only apply for one category.

For the Access Forum, there are vacancies for the coming season for the following positions for which you can apply if you are in the relevant group (you can only apply for one category):

  • Ambulant member (one place)
  • Ambulant season ticket holder (two places)
  • Non-ambulant member (two places)
  • Non-ambulant season ticket holder (two places)
  • UK away scheme (one place)

For both Forums, the minimum age for applicants is 18 at the closing date (7 June).

Representatives of the above categories cannot be on the board/management of one of the unofficial supporters’ groups who are also represented on the Forums.

Representatives serve a term of two years and thereafter cannot re-apply for a period of four years.

Please only put your name forward if there are issues you want to discuss with the club, as representatives are expected to attend all meetings and make a significant contribution to the discussions.

The deadline for applications is 2pm on Friday 7 June.
