Chelsea Under-18s drawn away in FA Youth Cup
From the official Chelsea FC website:
Chelsea Under-18s’ 2024/25 FA Youth Cup campaign will begin with an away trip after the draw for the third round paired us with Leicester City.
All Premier League and Championship clubs enter the FA Youth Cup at the third round and the Blues have been drawn to face fellow top-flight opposition in our first match of the competition.
We also travelled away to Leicester in the third round last season, when goals by Donnell McNeilly, Michael Golding and Shumaira Mheuka gave us a 3-1 win. We were eventually eliminated in a penalty shootout at Millwall in the quarter-finals, after further away wins at Everton and Crystal Palace.
All third-round ties this time around are scheduled to be completed by Saturday 14 December. Details of the exact date, time and venue for our away trip to Leicester will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
Our Under-18s’ Youth Cup match against Leicester should also be shown live for free on the official Chelsea website and app.
