Chelsea v Celtic: Kick-off time, where to watch and more

From the official Chelsea FC website:

The Blues return to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening to take on Celtic in the UEFA Champions League. Here is all you need to know…

For the second time in only five days, Sonia Bompastor’s side are back in SW6 where they will be looking to extend our perfect start to the European campaign having won all three Group B matches thus far.

Where and when

We host Celtic at Stamford Bridge on 20 November, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm UK time.

How to follow

As always, you can follow via the Chelsea Women v Celtic match centre on the official Chelsea website and app, where we will have minute-by-minute updates. You can also follow on the Chelsea Women’s social media channels on X Facebook and Instagram.

The Group B encounter will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and DAZN for those watching in the UK.

The form

The Blues kept up our flawless start to the campaign with an impressive 2-0 victory against Manchester City at the Bridge on Saturday.

Mayra Ramirez and Guro Reiten notched the goals in the space of four second-half minutes to make it seven wins from seven in the WSL and move us above City at the top of the table.

We have also won each of our three Champions League fixtures to date, including last week’s success over Celtic. They lost 3-2 at home to Rangers in the SWPL on Sunday, Chelsea Cornet scoring a late winner for the Gers after Celtic had twice come from behind. Celtic are still searching for their first point in the Champions League this season.

Recent head-to-head

The two sides met for the first time last week in the reverse fixture at Celtic Park in Glasgow where the Blues prevailed with a 2-1 win.

Bompastor’s side had to come from behind after the hosts opened the scoring midway through the first half. Their lead was short lived as quickfire goals from Maika Hamano and Ashley Lawrence helped us to the three points.
