Premier League 2 quarter-final fixture confirmed

From the official Chelsea FC website:

As our play-off journey continues, Chelsea Under-21s will travel to face London rivals Crystal Palace this Friday night, as we aim to secure a place in the Premier League 2 semi-finals.

We will face Crystal Palace on Friday 2 May in our Premier League 2 quarter-final, with kick-off set for 7pm at Sutton United’s stadium.

In the round of 16, we delivered a dominant performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Kingsmeadow, securing a commanding 4-0 victory.

Four different players found the back of the net. Samuel Rak-Sakyi opened the scoring, before Harrison Murray-Campbell powered home a thumping header. Donnell McNeilly calmly converted from the penalty spot, and schoolboy Ryan Kavuma-McQueen rounded off the evening with a well-taken finish – putting the icing on the cake in what was a memorable night.

We now face London rivals Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals, after the Eagles secured their spot with a 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion. It wasn’t long ago that we last met the south Londoners – an exciting encounter earlier this month that saw us come out on top with a 4-2 victory.
