Coming to the Bridge for WSL opener? Here’s everything you need to know

Chelsea Women return to competitive action on Friday evening and it is with a blockbuster fixture. Stamford Bridge hosts the reigning champions’ first Barclays Women’s Super League match of the campaign with perennial title rivals Manchester City the visitors. If you are coming along to view the action live, we have here a handy guide to make the most of your visit…

Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium early if you do not want to miss the Lionesses parading the Women’s Euro 2025 trophy, as well as enjoy our fan appreciation drinks promotion. More details on those are below.

The match kicks off at 7.30pm and there are tickets available on general sale, as well as Club Chelsea hospitality packages for an elevated matchday experience.

Digital tickets have been introduced for games at Stamford Bridge this season, and you can find more information here

Supporters who need help with digital tickets ahead of the game can access various help points around Stamford Bridge. See the map below for locations.

Your tickets are now available to view

If you have purchased tickets for Chelsea Women vs Manchester City Women, your tickets will be available in the Chelsea Official App 48 hours before kick-off.

To access your digital tickets…

  1. You will need to download the latest version of the Chelsea Official App if you have not already.
  2. Log in to your account, using the email address and password used to purchase your ticket(s).
  3. Once logged in to the app, click the ‘Tickets’ icon in the top right of your screen
  4. You will then be taken to a screen where you can view tickets for your upcoming match(es).

You will need to activate your tickets prior to your arrival at Stamford Bridge to access the stadium.

To do so, select the ticket(s) that you have available under your ‘Upcoming‘ matches. Once taken to the following screen, select, ‘Activate Ticket‘. Please note that this feature is made available five days before the respective event.

What to do if you can’t view your tickets in the app

There are a few reasons why you may not be able to view your tickets in the Chelsea Official App:

  • You may not be logged into the app.
  • You may not be logged into the correct account. In order to access your tickets, you need to ensure that you are logged in using the same email address and password that you used to purchase your tickets.

Please ensure that alongside your digital ticket(s) activated in the Chelsea Official App, you have your confirmation of ticket purchase email to hand before you enter the stadium.

In-seat drinking

As part of the WSL’s Fan Choice trial, announced earlier this summer, all supporters in the West Stand lower tier and hospitality areas at the Bridge will no longer be restricted to the concourse or suites when enjoying the range of alcoholic beverages on offer.

Instead, for the first time in many years, fans in these areas can enjoy their drinks from the comfort of their seats while watching the on-pitch action.

Fan appreciation offer

Arrive at the Bridge early on Friday and enjoy 50% off beverages before kick-off!

This offer is redeemable at bars inside the stadium concourse and is available between 6pm and 6.45pm (the first 45 minutes after gates open)*.

All drinks – soft, hot, and alcoholic beverages – are included.

Lionesses to parade trophy

We encourage you to be in your seats by 7pm to enjoy a celebration of England’s victory at Euro 2025. The Chelsea and Manchester City players who were in the squad that retained the Lionesses’ European champions title will be announced to the crowd alongside the trophy, before taking each other on for their respective club sides once the WSL game commences.

Family activity

Storage will be available at the match for buggies, mobility scooters and wheelchairs. This will be in the lower level of the Rose & Ball (located behind the Matthew Harding Stand at the north end of the stadium site) from 5pm to post-match. This must be booked in advance using this form

Activities such as face painters, balloon modellers and other roaming entertainment will be available on the East Stand lower concourse.

Look out for these from our partners

Fan clappers, courtesy of Chelsea Women’s partner Constant Contact, will be handed out around the concourses pre-match. Make sure you get yours and make some noise!
