New date confirmed for WSL clash with West Ham United

From the official Chelsea FC website:

Chelsea Women’s trip to West Ham United in the Women’s Super League has been rescheduled for Wednesday 17 May with an 8.15pm kick-off, and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

The original fixture was due to be played on Sunday 30 April, but has been moved to May 17 due to our participation in the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals in Barcelona on Thursday 27 April. Ticket information for our visit to West Ham will be communicated to supporters in due course.

We have faced Paul Konchesky’s side twice already this season, winning our WSL encounter at Kingsmeadow in September before the League Cup semi-final victory at the Chigwell Construction Stadium in February.

Our WSL fixture at home to Leicester City, originally scheduled for Sunday 23 April, will also be rescheduled due to our participation in the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals against Barcelona on Saturday 22 April.

Details for the re-arranged fixture against Leicester at Kingsmeadow are to be confirmed.
