More than a game of football: What’s on at Stamford Bridge this Sunday

From the official Chelsea FC website:

Chelsea Women host Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge in the Barclays Women’s Super League on Sunday, and there is plenty of pre- and post-match activity for you to get involved in on what promises to be a memorable occasion, with a special Nike Bus, a stylish merchandise range, photo opportunities with trophies, gaming, food and drink offers and much more.

The Blues go head-to-head with Tottenham in a tantalising London derby on home soil, and we will be looking to extend our winning run in the league to seven consecutive matches in front of our fantastic supporters. All general sale tickets for this history-making event have now sold out.

This year, as well as celebrating the 30th anniversary of Chelsea FC Women, we celebrate Emma Hayes’ 10th year in charge of the Blues, a decade of service which has seen the team transformed into a domestic and European superpower under her leadership.

As well as the entertainment on the pitch, there will be a selection of events and activities taking place throughout the day, amplifying the matchday experience for supporters of all ages. Here is a look at what we will have to offer…

The Nike Bus

Destination Stamford Bridge, the Nike Bus is coming to SW6! Situated at Britannia Gate, why not jump aboard the Nike Bus for the ultimate pre-match preparations this Sunday. There will be T-shirt customisation, a photobooth and face painting on offer to get you match ready and all set to cheer on the Blues at the Bridge.

Nothing Stops Us Merchandise at the Megastore

Look the part in our Nike Football Nothing Stops Us range. We’ve released a stylish, new lifestyle range filled with hoodies, T-shirts and accessories to celebrate 30 years of success for Chelsea Women. Join the movement and grab yours from the Chelsea Megastore on matchday.

Also, don’t miss out on getting your hands on one of our limited edition Nike x Chelsea FC Women sports bras. These will be on sale for Nike members in the Megastore.

Fan photo opportunity

If you’re looking to capture that perfect matchday moment then look no further. There will be a unique fan photo opportunity next to the Millennium Hotel in the south-east corner of the stadium, where you will be able to pose in style with your friends and family in front of the famous banners of the Chelsea Women Supporters Group. Start the day with something to remember it by and make sure you use #CFCWMatchday when posting your pictures on social media for the chance to feature on our big screen inside the stadium!

Trophies on show

The three most recent pieces of silverware won by Chelsea Women will be on display in the club museum this Sunday and available for photo opportunities before the game. The museum is situated behind the Matthew Harding Stand and will be open from 9.30am until 12pm. Again, make sure your trophy photos are tagged with #CFCWMatchday for the chance to feature on the big screen at Stamford Bridge!

Gaming Zone

Calling all gaming fans, the FIFA 23 pods return to Stamford Bridge for this Barclays WSL London derby! Situated in the East Family Stand, you will be able to play as all of your favourite Chelsea Women players, including cover star Sam Kerr, before watching them live. There are a limited number of pods available at the Gaming Zone and these will operate on a first-come first-served basis to East Stand ticketholders only.

The Warm Up

Want to get match ready in style? Join league sponsor Barclays pre-game in the 1905 Club for ‘The Warm Up’.

World Cup screening – the football continues!

There is no need to rush off once the final whistle is blown, as Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill at the Bridge will be hosting a special World Cup screening.

Watch the opening ceremony from Qatar in Frankie’s followed by the first match of the tournament with the hosting nation taking on Ecuador. While you do, food and refreshments will be on offer too.

It is always best to book a table via Frankie’s website, however plenty of tables for walk-up customers will be available on a first come first served basis.

There will be an a la carte menu all day, with selected cocktails at £7.50.
