Mark Robinson departs for Burton Albion

After 18 years at AFC Wimbledon – which included a spell in charge of the first team – boyhood Chelsea fan Robinson joined the Blues in May 2022 to oversee our Under-21s side.
His first campaign at the helm resulted in a third-place finish in Premier League 2. Our Under-21s also made it into the knockout stages of the EFL Trophy.
The young Blues finished fourth in PL2 this season and entered the newly introduced play-off stage. Robinson’s side reached the semi-finals in addition to strong showings in the Premier League Cup and Premier League International Cup.
Everyone at Chelsea would like to thank Robbo for his work throughout his time at the club and we wish him well as he embarks on the next chapter in his coaching career.
