Travel alert for Inter Milan and Manchester City game: Road closure at West Brompton
From the official Chelsea FC website:
Supporters travelling by road to either of the fixtures at Stamford Bridge in August may wish to take note of a road closure to the north of the stadium.
Old Brompton Road is closed to traffic to facilitate major utility work. The point of closure is Lillie Bridge by West Brompton Station, between Seagrave Road and Eardley Crescent.
The anticipated completion date for the works mean they have potential to affect road traffic in the area when we host Inter Milan in a pre-season game on Sunday 11 August, and a week later on Sunday 18 August when we stage our Premier League season opener against Manchester City.
A signed diversion will be in place. Access to and from West Brompton station will be unaffected.
Supporters are advised to take public transport to all of our fixtures and journeys to home games can be checked in advance using Transport for London’s journey planner
