Monday 14 October
Afternoon
The week’s international matches begin with the younger Blues taking to the pitch. Five players could potentially feature across games for England Under-18s, Morocco Under-18s and Sweden Under-19s as a series of short friendly tournaments conclude.
Evening
The UEFA Nations League could have heavy Chelsea involvement on Monday evening, with Mykhailo Mudryk looking to impress again after his goal gave Ukraine their first win in the competition last time out, while Wesley Fofana and Christopher Nkunku could be in action for France after the latter netted his first international goal last week.
Blues youngsters Josh Acheampong and Max Merrick will also be hoping to feature when England’s Elite League Squad (formerly U20s) take on Czechia from 7pm.
We will have a round-up of today’s international action on our website and app later on tonight, as well as pictures from today’s Chelsea training session.
Tuesday 15 October
Afternoon
Nicolas Jackson and Senegal will hope to make it back-to-back wins over Malawi in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying after our striker scored his first goal for his country against the same opposition on Friday.
Kiano Dyer, Harrison Murray-Campbell, Reiss Denny, Shumaira Mheuka and Ted Curd (all England), plusLeo Cardoso (Portugal) also have matches at Under-19s level.
The women’s squad will find out who among them will be on duty with their countries in the coming days as their international break follows next week. England are one the teams who will be revealing their squads (at 10.45am) and we will confirm who has been called up as soon as it is revealed.
We should also have the latest from Enzo Maresca in an exclusive interview as his squad ramp up preparations for the return to the Premier League this weekend.
Evening
The European international window comes to a close with our Portuguese trio Joao Felix, Pedro Neto and Renato Veiga – fresh from his debut on Saturday – as well as Spanish duo Marc Cucurella and Robert Sanchez in Nations League action.
Filip Jorgensen, Lucas Bergstrom, Malo Gusto and Cesare Casadei also have matches for their countries as the final round of fixtures in qualifying for next year’s European Under-21 Championship take place earlier in the evening.
Wednesday 16 October
Morning
World Cup qualifying continues in South America, with games kicking off in the early hours of the morning UK time. Enzo Fernandez (Argentina) plus Moises Caicedo and Kendry Paez (both Ecuador) all featured for their countries in last week’s games.
Afternoon
Christopher Nkunku will be sharing his story of the journey he has taken from his early days playing football in France to playing for Chelsea and his country, via spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Leipzig, in our exclusive interview.
Chelsea Women head coach Sonia Bompastor will be speaking to the media at around 3.30pm UK time as she looks ahead to our Women’s Champions League away tie against Dutch side Twente.
Thursday 17 October
Afternoon
Following on from Monday and Tuesday’s training, we should have pictures once again as Enzo Maresca is likely to welcome back more of his international players during Thursday’s session.
Evening
Chelsea Women’s first European away trip of the season kicks off at 8pm (UK time) as we travel to the Netherlands to face Twente in our second Women’s Champions League group fixture. The Blues will be hoping to make it two wins out of two in the competition, after goals from Sjoeke Nusken, Guro Reiten and Mayra Ramirez gave us a 3-2 victory over Real Madrid in last week’s opener at Stamford Bridge.
Friday 18 October
Morning
We will start the day by bringing you all the reaction from Chelsea Women players to Thursday evening’s Champions League fixture away at Twente.
Afternoon
There are then a pair of press conferences as attention switches to the weekend’s domestic games. Enzo Maresca will be speaking to the media at 1pm to preview Sunday’s Premier League away trip to Liverpool, before Sonia Bompastor follows suit at 3pm ahead of the women’s match against Tottenham Hotspur. We will be streaming both press conferences live and will have written articles on the two pressers on our official website and app.
Saturday 19 October
Morning
The weekend’s action begins with our Academy at 11am, when the Under-18s will host Reading at Cobham in the Under-18 Premier League. The young Blues are looking to pick up where they left off before the international break, having made it three wins in a row in all competitions.
The match will be streamed live for free on the official Chelsea website and app, and you can watch all the action as it happens through the Chelsea Under-18s vs Reading Match Centre.
