Everything you need to know about the FA Cup third round draw

Chelsea will find out our first FA Cup opponents of the season on Monday when the draw for the third round takes place.

When is the draw?

The draw takes place tomorrow (Monday 28 November) at 7pm UK time.

When will Chelsea be in FA Cup action?

FA Cup third round fixtures are set to be played on the weekend of Friday 6 January to Monday 9 January 2023.

FA Cup third round draw: How to follow

Fans will be able to tune into the FA Cup third round draw on BBC Two from 7pm on Monday 28 November. You’ll also be able to keep track through the Emirates FA Cup social media channels on Twitter and Facebook.

Who can Chelsea face?

All 20 Premier League sides will enter the draw at this stage, alongside 24 EFL Championship teams. They will join 20 teams who advance from the second round:

Accrington, Barnsley, Bristol Rovers/Boreham Wood, Burton/Chippenham, Charlton/Stockport, Chesterfield, Dagenham & Redbridge/Gillingham, Ebbsfleet/Fleetwood, Forest Green, Grimsby, Hartlepool, Ipswich Town/Buxton, Newport County/Derby County, Oxford United, Portsmouth, Sheffield Wednesday, Shrewsbury Town, Stevenage, Walsall, Wrexham

Number 12 is the one that Blues fans will need to be looking out for in the draw.
