Champions League tickets available to back the Blues at the Bridge

From the official Chelsea FC website:

Secure your seat to cheer on Chelsea Women as we attempt to complete the job we started in France by recording a historic win over Lyon in the Women’s Champions League

Chelsea Women claimed a statement victory away in Lyon in the first leg of our Women’s Champions League quarter-final against the current holders and the competition’s most successful team of all time.

It was our first-ever win over the French side, but it will count for nothing unless we can finish the job on what is set to be a terrific European night at Stamford Bridge, with kick-off at 8pm on Thursday, and you can be a part of it, with tickets still available in the Shed End and West Stand.

The tie is finely poised, with the Blues holding a narrow 1-0 lead thanks to Guro Reiten‘s first-half goal across the Channel, but it will be no easy task as we attempt to become only the second team to knock Lyon out of the Champions League since 2015, as they have won the competition in six of the last seven seasons.

The magnitude of the task in front of us is underlined by the fact Lyon have only ever lost three two-legged Champions League ties since they first competed in Europe back in 2007, but Chelsea Women manager Emma Hayes is hoping the backing of a big crowd at the Bridge can help make that four in another landmark moment for the Blues.

‘I remember the final between Wolfsburg and Lyon in 2013, I remember sitting in the crowd and thinking one day I would love to be in a position to bring Lyon to Stamford Bridge,’ said Hayes.

‘Now I’m looking forward to seeing the fans next week. It will be a passionate crowd that want to be there and have spent money being there.

‘We’re finally building an audience for top-class Women’s Champions League. It’s an important development for our game in England.’

You can join the many thousands who have already bought tickets for the decisive second leg at Stamford Bridge on Thursday 30 March. Tickets start at £9 for adults and £1 for juniors and seniors, and are available now.
