Chelsea 2023/24 retained and released lists confirmed

The list of players retained by Chelsea following the 2023/24 season has today been published and confirmed by the Premier League.
The Brazilian defender arrived at Chelsea in the summer of 2020 and won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup during his four seasons at Stamford Bridge. A return to his homeland with Fluminense has already been agreed.
After four years at the club, the Brazilian defender confirms his departure from Chelsea at the end of the season.
Josh Brooking will also depart at the end of his contract. Josh joined us during the 2018/19 season from Reading and featured regularly for our Under-18s and Under-21s during his time with the club.
Also at Academy level, second-year scholar Noah Hay will leave at the end of this month.
A contract offer has been extended to Samuel Rak-Sakyi. Any further developments regarding players extending their contracts will be communicated in due course.
We thank each player leaving us for their contributions during their time with Chelsea and wish them every success in the next chapter of their careers.
