Women’s Champions League: Blues discover quarter-final opponents
From the official Chelsea FC website:
Chelsea will face London rivals Arsenal in next month’s Women’s Champions League quarter-final, after our London rivals defeated OH Leuven in their knockout phase play-off.
After securing a third-place finish in the league phase by defeating Wolfsburg in December, Sonia Bompastor‘s side sealed direct progression to the last eight.
Arsenal, however, placed fifth in the standings and had to enter the knockout phase play-offs. They faced OH Leuven over two legs, and their 3-1 victory this evening, which ensured a 7-1 aggregate win, has set up an all-London quarter-final tie.

The date for the second leg, which will be played at Stamford Bridge, is Wednesday, 1 April. Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm (UK time) and fans can purchase tickets and hospitality for that match now!
In line with UEFA regulations, fan segregation will be in place. Arsenal have been allocated an away section, and their supporters should purchase tickets directly through Arsenal. Supporters wearing opposition colours in home areas will be denied entry.
The date of the first leg of the tie is still to be confirmed, but it will take place on either 24 or 25 March.
Chelsea supporters have been allocated 3,000 tickets, which are expected to go on sale next week once UEFA confirms the fixture details.
