CSG On The Pitch Pre Aston Villa
CSG ‘On The Pitch’ For Worthy Causes
The Chelsea Supporters Group (CSG) will be on the pitch on Saturday 27th September before the kick off with Aston Villa around 2:45′ish.
We will be presenting the ‘Kyle Broadbent Memorial’ trophy to the worthy ‘winners of the 6th annual ‘6th Fans Football Tournament’ to Middlesex Blues who finished in top spot, Kyle’s father Tony will be on hand to present the trophy.
As well as handing over the trophy, the CSG membership secretary Liz Nurse will have two £400 cheque’s to donate to two charities, ‘Regenerate’ who do great work with the children, especially in the Chelsea area and, the clubs own ‘Chelsea Foundation’.
The money collected was raised via a raffle and team donations on the day of the event. Many thanks go to all who put their hands in their pockets for these worthy causes.
The Fans Football Tournament is held at the exceptional Cobham Chelsea training ground facility and each year we are thankful to the club for their continued support in this event.
CSC Committee
I would be interested to know if you are totally Independent of the Club or not? I am an Aston Villa fan and run the Sutton Coldfield Supporters Club and we have had a few issues with Aston Villa FC,so much so that we(along with 8 other Supporters Clubs) have just started a break away group.
We are independant of Chelsea FC like most supporters groups.
We set up in 2005 and have been going along since this time.
We are part of the CFC Fans Forum so still have some input between the club and the supporters.
Good luck with your new venture – Ed
